4. How do I know if I have to go to the dentist?

If your oral health is generally good, it is recommended to visit the dentist once or twice a year. However, if you have any problems with your teeth, gums, or oral cavity, you need to be evaluated and treated as soon as possible to avoid major complications.

5. How should I prepare for my dental appointment?

Tell the dentist if you are taking any medication or if you have allergies. Do not attend under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances.
Brush your teeth well before going to the appointment – this makes any dental procedure easier.
It is mandatory to enter the clinic with a face mask. Do not bring companions to the appointment, unless you are a minor or require special attention.
Attend your appointment using comfortable clothing – preferably, avoid turtleneck shirts. Go to the appointment with as little makeup as possible (ideally, no lipstick)

6. What should I expect during a dental exam?

A dental exam involves evaluating the patient’s oral health. The dentist will perform an examination of your mouth to be able to give you an accurate diagnosis and a personalized dental treatment according to your needs.

7. How often should I visit the dentist?

To avoid dental problems and maintain healthy teeth and gums, you should go to the dentist for a regular check-up and cleaning at least twice a year. However, your dentist may recommend more frequent visits if necessary.
